What is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)? Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of optimizing a website or web page in order to increase its visibility in organic (non-paid) search engine results. SEO involves a combination of techniques such as link building, keyword research and analysis, content optimization, and website optimization. The goal of SEO services is to increase the website’s ranking in the search engine results page (SERP) and to increase the amount of organic traffic to the website.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of optimizing a website or web page to increase its visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs). SEO involves making changes to the website or page content, HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.

SEO works by using a combination of techniques that have been developed to help websites rank higher in SERPs. These techniques include on-page optimization (such as content optimization, keyword research, and meta-tag creation); off-page optimization (such as link building, directory submission, and social media promotion); and technical optimization (such as website speed optimization, mobile-friendly design, and structured data markup). When these techniques are applied correctly, they can help to improve a website’s visibility in search engine results and drive more organic traffic. This, in turn, can help to increase conversions and sales, as well as build brand awareness and loyalty.

Search engines rank websites based on a variety of factors, including: the quality of content on the website, the number and quality of backlinks to the website, the website’s loading speed, the age of the website, and the website’s level of optimization for search engines. Search engines also take into account the user’s search query, their geographic location, their device, and other factors when determining which websites to rank highest.

Also, there is a difference between paid and organic search results. Paid search results are results that are shown in response to a user query that are sponsored by an advertiser. These results appear at the top or side of the page and are labeled as “Ads”. Organic search results are those that are not sponsored by an advertiser. These results are based on the relevance of the query to the content of a particular website. Organic search results appear below the paid results.
